What is a Provider Network?

A Provider Network is a list of health care providers (i.e. physicians, hospitals, and other health care facilities) who are contracted by a health care company, such as OneShare Health.

They provide medical care to Members enrolled in Programs offered by that specific health care company.

Any provider who is contracted by a health care company and provides medical care to its Members is known as a “Network Provider.” In OneShare Health’s case, these providers are called “In Network Providers.”

Members who receive Eligible care and services from within the Provider Network receive discounts on these services based on a contract entered into by the provider and the health care company.
