At OneShare, our Members’ wellness is our number one priority, which is why we’ve designed a full suite of Sharing Services that encompasses a broad range of medical issues, including Cancer.
There is a 5 year Lookback for all Cancer, and, for Members who have never been diagnosed or received treatment for any type of Cancer, sharing is Eligible for newly diagnosed Cancers after a 90-Day Waiting Period. If a Member is diagnosed in that 90-Day Waiting Period the that Cancer will never be Eligible for Sharing, and recurring Cancer is Not Eligible for Sharing.
If a Member was diagnosed, or treatment was received, for Cancer within five (5) years of the Member’s Effective Date, Cancer expenses are Not Eligible for Sharing. If a Member was diagnosed, or treatment was received, for Cancer more than 5 years prior to the Member’s Effective Date, that Member’s newly diagnosed Cancer expenses will be Eligible for Sharing, after the 90-Day Waiting Period, if the following conditions are met:
- Member must provide medical reports which indicate there was no ongoing treatment for Cancer and no future treatment was prescribed, recommended, or planned.
- Medical reports must show the Member has followed the guidelines for preventive screening of Cancer and followed guidelines for a healthy lifestyle as recommended by attending physician.
The Maximum Limit Per Incident for all Cancer is $500,000*, and each Incident cannot exceed the Maximum Limit Per Incident.
*Maximum Limit Per Incident for Cancer may vary by Program, please refer to your Membership Guidelines.
"Therefore encourage one another and build one another up, just as you are doing."
